9 awake, my soul!
Awake, lyre and harp!
I will awaken the dawn.[a]
10 [b]I will give thanks to you among the peoples, O Lord;
I will sing your praises among the nations.
11 For your kindness extends to the heavens;
your faithfulness, to the skies.

- Psalm 57:9 Dawn: personified as in Ps 139:9; Job 3:9; 38:12. The “night” (v. 5: “lie prostrate”) symbolizes trials; deliverance comes with the “dawn” (see Ps 17:15).
